What is coaching?

  • Coaching is a respectful and confidential partnership between a coach and client. This relationship assists the client to identify what is holding them back and empower them to step into what they most want, accessing internal and external resources to make positive and meaningful change.

  • Coaching from a narrative perspective, works with stories to discover what is no longer working and find alternative stories that serve the client's dreams and goals

How do I know it would be useful for me?

  • Coaching is extremely helpful to anyone wanting change but either feels stuck, is struggling with clarifying what that change might look like or is unsure about how to make it happen. It is for individuals prepared to commit to looking at issues honestly and in some depth and to do the work required, in a supportive environment, to bring about change. 

  • It is also for people who are wanting support to navigate change that has been thrust upon them, to find new direction, engagement and purpose

How does it work?

  • Coaching sessions are offered via phone or video calls that are approximately 1 hour duration. In some instances I will offer face to face sessions however the changes brought about by Covid 19 have shown that developing a strong coaching relationship that supports desirable change, can be equally successful in a remote setting.

  • It includes email access between sessions

How much time does it involve?

  • There are no hard and fast rules about length of engagement or frequency of sessions and everyone’s situation is different. Generally, though, most people would have from 3-6 sessions initially and extend the number of sessions as required.
